gemiusHeatMap - Help
Ribbon menu – LinkMap settings
This folder is visible only in the LinkMap settings
- Distinguished links – the option (set in the ordinary way) enables different links which indicate the same target object to be treated independently. For example, a test link and an image leading to the same article are treated separately.
- Aggregated links – links indicating the same address are treated all together
- Show information – when this option is set on, running into the link, the table presenting the number of clicks and users for all addresses during all periods of using the application will be shown.
- Applying colour – in this module a selected colour is applied on the links (usually red). The colour is as intensive as there are more clicks done in a selected link.
- Elucidation – clicking on a colourful rectangle makes the menu of choosing colours appear. You can change the actual colour of links elucidation to a new one, which is more visible on the browsed site.
- Selection – the menu is analogical to the previous one, it concerns the colour of link’s elucidation. It is chosen in the window of the Statistics and Ranking
- Gradient – the module in which two radical colours are set – appropriately the least popular and the most popular link. All intermediate numbers of clicks are marked by intermediate colours.
- Temperature elucidation – the links are coloured in the subjective temperature scale, the least popular in blue and the most popular ones in red.
- Absolute colouring – the shade of elucidation is picked up linearly. It is a perfect setting for a webpage with links of even popularity. It could look worse on the sites with a drastically different number of clicks (for example, one link with one thousand clicks, the others only with few clicks – then the elucidation of the less popular links is practically invisible.
- Relative colouring – after choosing that option the links are shaded more evenly. It is set as default.
