- Works identically to the F5 key in a web browser, i.e., it
re-requests the current webpage

- Halts the loading of a current webpage/website

Bookmarks
- Clicking the bottom part of the icon displays a list of active
bookmarks; this allows the user to move to book-marked pages.
Clicking the top part of the icon displays an edit bookmarks window
- Location - This is the field where you enter the URL (internet address) of the page you want to view. Clicking the small triangle drops down a list of recently visited pages.
Clicking
this icon
adds
the current page to the Bookmarks.

Highlight
Links
- This icon turns the highlight on links on and off.

Value
Frames
- This option causes a small window to appear within the area of
given link (clicks or visitors (cookies) in a given period). This
allows the user to quickly assess the click count if there is a
large number of links on the page

Statistics

Hiding / showing the Statistics window. Unfolded menu placed on the
bottom part of the icon allows hiding/showing Ranking window and
also the filed of URLs and ALTs’ searching.

E
xport
- Clicking the top part of the icon exports the current content of
the Statistics and Ranking window to a .csv file.
Clicking
the bottom part of the icon drops down a menu from which the Export
All Option
can be selected.
This feature saves, to a .csv file, data on all
clicks recorded for the current webpage (current URL address) within
the entire period available for analysis. Both the preceding and
current months are saved, as well as all the links (regardless of
whether they are there on the page or have been removed).

Refresh
Statistics
- By clicking this icon, you can re-retrieve click statistics for
the current page (URL address)

Proxy
settings
- Some corporate networks require that the Internet should be
accessed through proxy servers. If this is the case, the proxy
server options must be set before logging into the system for the
first time, by clicking the Network
settings
button on the login screen.

The following menu will appear:
Usually, the option of direct connection is set up, or Do not use a proxy server.
You can also chose to use the settings of a web browser such as Internet Explorer or inscribe your own settings.
The server’s gHM field should remain plain or the adviser will give specific settings for the specific account.
Language – this option enables you to choose a language, in which the messages of the application are presented. The following languages are available: English, Polish, Dutch and Russian.
Application appearance – enables you to tailor the application’s appearance to the user’s individual preferences. Besides a few available colourful versions of the interface, a “Simple” look is also available. It is characterised by much lower equipment demands and can make the work of gemiusHeatMap application on older computers better.
