gemiusHeatMap - FAQ

My website displays the same content for the following addresses: http://example.com/; http://www.example.com/; and http://www1.example.com/. Nevertheless, I receive other results in gemiusHeatMap for each of these sites. Why?

By default, gemiusHeatMap distinguishes websites on the basis of their URL addresses; therefore websites under various addresses e.g. http://example.com/ and http://www.example.com/ are treated as two different sites for which statistics are counted separately. However, it is possible to combine the data. To do this, please inform a representative of Gemius SA and specify URL addresses to be combined. After introduction of a rule combining different URL addresses to gemiusHeatMap server, identical results will be displayed after opening each of the combined sites in gemiusHeatMap application.
